GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE HOTEL

This document constitutes the General Terms and Conditions of the hotel managed by SMART HOPER, S.L.U. (hereinafter referred to as "LATROUPE"). The General Terms and Conditions contain all the information that you (hereinafter referred to as "Hotel or Campsite guest" or "Hotel or Campsite guests") must know and comply with.

ARTICLE 1. BOOKING CONFIRMATION 

Upon successful completion of each booking, you, as a guest of the Hotel and/or Camping, will receive a booking confirmation with your details and all booking information. This booking confirmation represents the agreement between the Hotel and/or Camping guest and LATROUPE together with these General Terms and Conditions, the House Rules and any other annexes.

ARTICLE 2. ROOMS OR ACCOMMODATION AND COMMON AREAS AT LATROUPE 

For Hotel guests, LATROUPE offers, depending on the accommodation, the following options: 

- Open Suite, refurbished studios with air-conditioning, own bathroom and shower.

- Studios, with their own kitchen, bathroom and shower

- Classic Apartment or type B, with a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom and shower room.

- Superior flat, refurbished, with own bedroom, living room, kitchen, air conditioning, bathroom and shower

- Premium Apartment, refurbished, with two bedrooms, living room, kitchen, own bathroom and shower, air conditioning

- Casa Ancora, private villa with three bedrooms, renovated, own living room, kitchen, air conditioning, bathroom and shower. 

For guests of the campsite, LATROUPE offers, depending on the accommodation, the following options: 

- Tramuntana: (64 units) (28 mtrs inside + 18 mtrs terrace) For 5pax. 2 bedrooms. Living room with two large windows opening onto the terrace with pergola of 18m. All windows with double glazing to ensure good insulation. Large bathroom with good quality fittings and shower 100 x 80 cm, separate WC. Numerous storage spaces and small fitted kitchen.

- Garbí Premium: (20 units) (35 mtrs inside + 17 mtrs terrace) For 5pax. 2 bedrooms.

- Garbí: (20 units) (35 mtrs interior + 17 mtrs terrace) For 7pax. 3 bedrooms. Spacious living room with two areas: dining room and lounge. Three bedrooms with beds adaptable for adults/children and space for a cot. Large bay window of 4 mtrs. All windows with double glazing to ensure good insulation. Spacious bathroom with good quality fittings and 100 x 80 cm shower, separate WC. Numerous storage spaces and kitchen with fitted bar.

- Gregal: (4 units) (35 mtrs inside + 17 mtrs terrace) For 4pax. 2 bedrooms. Very spacious and bright living room with standard fitted kitchen adapted for PRM. Double bedroom with king-size bed 160×200 cm and 2nd bathroom with shower XL 100×80. Bedroom with 2 corner beds for children (one of them overlapping, which saves space). PRM-approved shower cubicle: practical, comfortable and modern. Large sliding glass door that slides along the wall.

- Mestral: (10 units) (33metros inside + 14mtrs terrace) For 6pax. 3 bedrooms. Double room with a 160 x 200 cm bed and a window with access to the terrace. 3 separate bedrooms with low beds, ideal for the comfort of children and adults. Large living room with double glazed sliding doors, sliding doors and access to a terrace with pergola. Large bathroom with good quality fittings and 100 x 80 cm shower, separate WC. Numerous storage spaces and small fitted kitchenette.

- Family Tent: (24 units) (20,3 mtrs inside + 9,5 mtrs terrace) 4pax. 2 bedrooms. Tent of 29,8m2. Two separate bedrooms. Double room with a double bed and window. Next room with a double bed and an upper single bed. Common area with large table. Outside porch of 9,5m2. No private bathroom or kitchen.

- GlamTent: (12 units) (10,5 mtrs inside +7,5 mtrs terrace) 2pax. 1 bedroom. Tent of 10,5 m2. Two single beds and small outside porch of 3m2. No private bathroom or kitchen.

- Siroco: (5 units) (17,7 mtrs inside + 17,5 mtrs terrace) 5 pax. 2 bedrooms.  Very pleasant living space, modular, open to the outside or closed by the canvas, equipped with a corner bench. Comfortable kitchen with large opening onto the living space. A room in the canvas space with a jazz bed (3 places). Bathroom with ceramic washbasin, shower XL 100x80 and many storage spaces. Porch of 17,5 m2.

- Beach House: (16 units) 5pax. 2 bedrooms. Very pleasant living space, modular, open to the outside or closed by the canvas, equipped with a corner bench. Comfortable kitchen with large opening to the living space. A room in the canvas space with a jazz bed (3 places). Bathroom with ceramic washbasin, shower XL 100x80 and many storage spaces. Porch of 17,5 m2.

These tents are located on the beachfront, just a stone's throw from the Pola cove. In addition, it should be noted that this type of tents are removable, which allows us to reduce the visual pollution of the site. 

For the guests of the campsite, LATROUPE offers, depending on the accommodation, the following options: 

The rooms or accommodation are delivered clean and include towels and bed linen. Guests can request, against payment, the cleaning of their room or accommodation during their stay. 

Resort guests have free access to the communal areas of the resort facilities, including the swimming pool area, the Spa Spa Spa, etc.

Camping guests have free access to the common areas of the campsite facilities, including the swimming pool area, kids club, etc.

Hotel (resort) and campsite guests must respect the House Rules when using the communal areas and facilities provided. The hotel or camping guest will be charged immediately for misuse and excessive use of the facilities.

ARTICLE 3. TARIFFS

Pola Giverola LATROUPE Resort has two pricing options: flexible and non-flexible. 

Pola Giverola LATROUPE Camp has only one price option: flexible.

Flexible pricing:

The full amount must be paid at least 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date.

Cancellations or modifications to the accommodation are possible up to 24 hours before the arrival date (see article 7).

Non-flexible price:

The full amount will be charged in the booking process and must be paid immediately.

In case of cancellation of the accommodation, a compensation of 100% of the total price of the accommodation must be paid (see article 7).

City tax is added to the prices. The amount of the city tax depends on the number of persons and the number of nights booked.

The prices of the accommodation options listed in article 2 can be consulted at any time on the LATROUPE website. All amounts are in EUROS.

The amount due by the guest must be paid through the online payment system provided.

The prices indicated on the website are subject to change. Only the rates in force at the time of booking will apply to the agreement between the Hotel and/or Camping guest and LATROUPE.

Obvious errors (including typos) are not binding.

All special offers and promotions are marked as such. If they are not labelled as such, Hotel and/or Camping guests may not be entitled to them in the event of obvious errors or mistakes.

Article 8 of these General Terms and Conditions applies to group bookings.

ARTICLE 4. ALLOCATION OF ACCOMMODATION 

During the Check-in process, LATROUPE unilaterally assigns accommodation to the Hotel or Campsite guest within the selected accommodation option. Hotel and/or Camping guests cannot object to this allocation.

LATROUPE reserves the right to assign a different accommodation to a Hotel or Camping guest before or during occupancy for operational reasons. Hotel and/or campsite guests may not oppose or demand any compensation from LATROUPE.

ARTICLE 5. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE

Check-in can take place from the first day of the booking from 17:00 p.m. onwards. In case of early arrival, LATROUPE cannot guarantee the availability of the room(s).

Check-out must take place on the last day of the booking before 10:00 am. In case of late check-out (with a maximum duration of three hours) a supplement will be charged. After 13:00 p.m. a full night's accommodation will be charged.

If departure is made before the scheduled end date of the accommodation, LATROUPE is entitled to charge the total number of nights booked in accordance with the price indicated in the booking confirmation.

 ARTICLE 6. KEY BRACELET

At check-in, the Hotel and/or Camping guest will be provided with an activated bracelet. Upon request of the Hotel and/or Camping guest, one or more additional wristbands can be made available for a fee of 10,00 EUR per wristband.

 In case of loss, damage or non-return of the key bracelet upon departure, a supplement will be charged.

 

Article 7 . CANCELLATION POLICY

If a guest of the Hotel and/or Camping opts for a flexible rate, he/she can cancel his/her accommodation without any additional cost up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival date. In case of later cancellation, 100% of the accommodation cost will be charged.

Cancellation after 24 hours prior to arrival (local time of the hotel and/or campsite), or no-show, will result in a charge for the entire stay being made to the customer's credit card.

If the Hotel and/or Camping guest opts for a non-flexible rate, in case of cancellation of his/her reservation, 100% of the accommodation costs will be charged.

Article 8 . GROUP BOOKINGS

Bookings for more than 12 people are group bookings.

Group rates vary according to the number of persons and duration of occupancy and are given on request by telephone or email.

The price of the accommodation must be paid in advance. 30% of the total amount is payable at the time of confirmation of the booking and the remaining 70% is payable 15 days before the planned date of arrival. 

Without prejudice to article 7 of the General Conditions, the following cancellation and refund policy applies for group bookings:

Cancellation made more than 30 days prior to arrival date: no charge applies.

Cancellation made between the 29th and the 14th day before the scheduled date of arrival: a charge of 30% of the accommodation costs due by the tenant applies.

Cancellation made less than 14 days before the scheduled day of arrival: 100% of the accommodation costs will be charged.

A request to reduce the duration of the booked stay will be considered as a cancellation of the entire reduced period.

Groups are required to pay a deposit. LATROUPE will block the amount of the deposit at the time of check-in by means of the credit card of the group leader.

The security deposit will be cancelled at the end of the stay if the hotel and/or campsite guests have paid all outstanding balances and no damage, theft or irregularities have been found in connection with their stay at the hotel or campsite. Otherwise, LATROUPE is entitled to deduct the outstanding balances or credits from the blocked amount. LATROUPE will inform the Hotel and/or Camping guest of this charge.

ARTICLE 9. PROHIBITION OF PETS

Pets are not allowed. With the exception of guide dogs.

ARTICLE 10. NO SMOKING

Smoking is prohibited throughout the building.

ARTICLE 11. VISITORS

Subject to the provisions of the House Rules, guests of the Hotel and/or Camping may receive visitors exclusively in the Hotel and/or Camping restaurants.

Access to the guest rooms and bedrooms is forbidden to visitors.

 

ARTICLE 12. CLEANING

Your hotel booking includes a cleaning every 3 days (not including cleaning of kitchen equipment or personal utensils), as well as a change of towels. In our commitment to protect the environment by reducing water and energy consumption as well as waste water from detergents, you can also help: a towel hanging up means "I will use it again" and a towel on the floor means "please replace it". If you want extra cleaning, the cost per hour is 25,00€. 

In your Camping booking the cleaning of the accommodation during your stay is not included in your booking. If you wish to hire a cleaning service the cost is 25€/h. A weekly change of bed linen and towels is included in each booking, if you would like an additional change of towels on the third day, you can request it at the main reception.

When leaving the room or accommodation, Hotel or Camping guests should collect or put away personal items as much as possible. For optimal cleaning of the room or accommodation, the employees of the cleaning company have the right to remove any remaining personal items.

ARTICLE 13. USE OF HOTEL FACILITIES

LATROUPE provides various services to the guest of the Hotel and/or campsite (water, electricity, heating, air conditioning, wifi).

Excessive use of these services will be charged to the Hotel guest.

Among others, the charging of bicycles and other electric vehicles is prohibited, except in those places provided and/or authorised by LATROUPE.

 

ARTICLE 14. LIABILITY 

Hotel and/or Camping guests shall inform LATROUPE immediately if damage occurs or threatens to occur to the hotel rooms or accommodation. Hotel and/or Camping guests are liable for any nuisance and damage caused directly or indirectly by themselves or their guests or visitors, except where the damage is the result of normal use.

Hotel and/or Camping guests may not make any alterations to the hotel room(s) or camping accommodations or make holes, use nails or screws, or apply glue or tacks, etc. to the walls, floors or ceiling of the rooms or accommodations.

LATROUPE shall not be held liable for any contractual deficiency if it was the result of force majeure situations for which LATROUPE is not responsible, such as strikes, fires, public sector actions, terrorist threat, etc., according to the regulations in force.

If the damage or loss occurs due to a responsible deficiency on the part of a LATROUPE service provider, compensation for damage or loss to Hotel and/or Camping guests shall be limited to the compensation LATROUPE receives from the service provider involved.

In any event, LATROUPE's liability shall be limited to the value of the contract or compensation to be paid to LATROUPE by a third party or insurance company as compensation for the damage or loss incurred.

For any damage or loss of their items, Hotel and/or Camping guests must prove that it occurred on the Hotel or Camping premises and that it was the result of certain acts or omissions on the part of LATROUPE or its service providers. Otherwise, LATROUPE or its assigned service provider shall not be liable for damage, loss or theft.

LATROUPE shall not be liable for damage or loss for which Hotel and/or Camping guests are insured or should have been insured.

Guests are personally responsible for the persons they allow access to the Hotel or Campsite. LATROUPE shall not be liable for any damage or loss caused by such individuals, or for damage or inconvenience caused by objects that guests may have brought onto the premises. 

 Hotel and/or Camping guests are responsible for any damage caused by their own actions or negligence (whether unlawful or not) or that of their guests and visitors. The same applies to animals for which the Hotel and/or Camping guests or their guests and visitors are responsible. All damage caused by the guest of the Hotel and/or Campsite will be charged immediately by LATROUPE.

Without prejudice to the foregoing, LATROUPE shall be liable for any damage or loss of items entrusted to LATROUPE for safekeeping by guests of the Hotel and/or campsite against payment of such service. However, compensation for damage or loss shall be limited to the market value of the items in question. LATROUPE shall not be liable for the content of the items entrusted. For example, the contents of a wallet will only be compensated if the guest informed LATROUPE in writing when handing it over for safekeeping of the contents of the wallet. LATROUPE cannot be held responsible for items that have not been handed over for safekeeping upon payment of the service.

ARTICLE 15. ACCESS TO THE ROOMS AND ACCOMMODATION OF THE HOTEL AND CAMPSITE

In the context of daily cleaning, as well as in the event of an emergency, LATROUPE shall always have access to the rooms and accommodation of the hotel and campsite. It will also have access for security reasons or in the event of a well-founded suspicion that a guest of the Hotel and/or Camping, is engaging in illegal practices or actions in breach of the General Terms and Conditions and/or the House Rules.

Staff may enter a room with a "Do Not Disturb" notice after 24 hours. 

ARTICLE 16. IMPOSSIBILITY OF PERFORMANCE/FORCE MAJEURE

Except in cases of force majeure, LATROUPE will offer the Hotel and/or Camping guest alternative accommodation in the same locality if it is unable to execute the agreement with the Hotel/Camping guest. The associated costs are for the account of the guest, with explicit exclusion of compensation charges and/or costs.

In the event of force majeure, LATROUPE is entitled to suspend the execution of the contract without the Hotel and/or Camping guest being able to demand any compensation from LATROUPE.

Among other things, force majeure includes strikes, fires, public sector actions, terrorist threats, storms, floods or water damage and general interruption of electricity, water, gas or Internet.

ARTICLE 17. HOUSE RULES

LATROUPE has drawn up the House Rules in accordance with the regulations in force to ensure the peaceful enjoyment of all guests of the Hotel and/or the Campsite.

The House Rules are an integral part of these General Conditions, and by signing them, the guest declares to be in agreement with them and undertakes to comply with the regulations incorporated therein and to behave with due diligence.

 

ARTICLE 18. TERMINATION OF THE CONTRACT BY LATROUPE 

LATROUPE has the right to unilaterally terminate the contract and all services included on behalf of the Hotel and/or Camping guest in the event of a breach of these General Terms and Conditions or the House Rules by the Hotel and/or Camping guest. This without prior notice of default and without any compensation for the Hotel and/or Camping guest.

In such cases, payment for the entire stay shall be due. Furthermore, LATROUPE reserves the right to recover all direct and indirect damages resulting from the breach of the General Conditions or House Rules by the Hotel and/or Camping guest.

 

 ARTICLE 19. INSURANCE

LATROUPE insures the premises for the full value of the establishment with an approved insurance company for the entire duration of the contract against at least the following risks: fire, flood, storm, earthquake, water damage, explosion, electrical risks, etc. 

The guest of the hotel and/or campsite is responsible, where applicable, for having insurance for the protection of his personal effects.

ARTICLE 20. RATES AND TAXES

All taxes and fees, with the exception of the municipal tourist tax due to the city, are for the account of LATROUPE.

ARTICLE 2 1. COMPLETE AGREEMENT

The booking confirmation, these General Terms and Conditions, the House Rules and any other annexes contain the entire agreement concluded between the parties. It supersedes all previous negotiations and agreements.

 

ARTICLE 22. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA 

LATROUPE and the Owner of the Hotel and/or the Campsite shall process the data of the guests of the Hotel and the Campsite in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as data controllers. Please refer to the contact details of the Hotel and/or Camping Owner in the Legal Notice of this website. The companies have appointed a Data Protection Officer who can be contacted at the following e-mail address: rslopd@azora.es.

LATROUPE and the Hotel and/or Campsite Owner will process the data provided by you as a result of the management, processing and development of the contractual relationship, whether by legal requirement or because it is necessary for the formalisation of the contract, including identification and contact data, personal characteristics, social circumstances or economic and financial data, among others. The data of hotel and/or Camping guests may be processed to evaluate certain aspects of the personality, in particular to analyse or predict aspects related to the professional performance, economic situation, personal preferences, interests, trustworthiness, behaviour, location or movements of the natural person. No automated individual decisions will be made on the basis of this data processing.

The data of hotel and/or Camping guests will be processed primarily for the purpose of managing the booking and providing the agreed hotel services, including in particular: 

- Introduction, management and control of the contractual relationship between the guest of the LATROUPE Hotel and/or Camping.

- Management and resolution of requests that guests of the Hotel and/or Camping LATROUPE have with respect to LATROUPE services.

- Conduct periodic surveys to determine the degree of satisfaction of guests of the Hotel and / or Camping with the attention received by staff or partners LATROUPE. The answers provided by guests of the Hotel and / or Camping in the survey are completely anonymous, so the information provided by you can not be linked to your person.

- Sending personalised advertising information about activities, products, services, events, special promotions, as well as documentation of various kinds, by post, telephone or electronic means (e-mail, SMS, instant messaging...). The information to be sent may be related exclusively to LATROUPE and the Hotel and/or Camping Owner and will be about products or services similar to those you have previously contracted or about events in which LATROUPE or these companies participate that are similar to those you have contracted. The information may even be sent based on the analysis and evaluation of your profile, which will be carried out using internal data.

Data processing for the management of the legal relationship is based on the necessity for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take action at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract. Additionally, the purpose of marketing related to the products, services and events of LATROUPE, has its lawfulness in the legitimate interest pursued by LATROPUE and the Hotel and/or Camping Owner. This data processing will be proportional due to the legitimate way in which the data and contact information of the users has been obtained, to the sending of information only about products or services of the entity with which it was contracted and similar to those contracted and to the fact that the opportunity to object to these mailings will always be given.

The personal data of the guests of the Hotel and/or Camping may be communicated to the following recipients depending on the legitimate basis of the communication:

- Public Administrations, Security Forces and Corps or Courts, under the terms established in the current regulations, exclusively in the event that such communication of data is truthful and/or in compliance with legal obligations arising from claims, proceedings or any administrative or judicial procedure.

- Banking and financial institutions to enable the management of collections and financial transactions arising from the contractual relationship.

- Third parties who perform for LATROUPE, among others, the following functions: management, control, document management, monitoring of regulatory compliance or auditing, for the provision of services required by current regulations.

- Third parties contracted by LATROUPE to provide the services requested by the Hotel and/or Camping guest in a proactive manner related to possible incidents at the Hotel and/or Camping.

 The personal data provided will be stored for the duration of the contractual relationship. Once the relationship has ended, the data will be kept for the time necessary to comply with the purpose for which they were collected and for the time legally necessary to meet any liabilities that may arise from such data processing and purpose.

LATROUPE informs you that you have the following rights over your personal data:

- Right to request access to your personal data. Firstly, you have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not LATROUPE is processing data concerning you and, if so, the right to access such personal data.

- The right to modify, erase and delete your personal data. You also have the right to request the amendment of inaccurate data or, as the case may be, to request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

- Right to restrict the processing of your personal data. In certain circumstances, you may also ask LATROUPE to restrict the processing of your data, in which case it will only be kept for the purpose of making or defending claims.

- Right to data portability. You have the right to have your data transferred by LATROUPE to another organisation on request.

- Right to object. In certain circumstances and for reasons relating to your particular situation, you may object to the processing of your data. LATROUPE will stop processing your data, except for legal reasons, or for the defence of possible claims.

- Right to withdraw consent. We remind you that you have the right to object to the processing of your data for commercial or advertising purposes, as well as to withdraw any consent you have given for the processing of your data, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing of your data.

- Automated individual decisions. You have the right not to be subject to a decision which individually affects you based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.

Guests of the Hotel and/or Camping may exercise their rights by means of a written document identified with the reference "Data Protection" accompanying their DNI or equivalent document, which must be sent to Calle Villanueva 2B, Escalera 1, Planta SM, 28001 Madrid or rslopd@azora.es. If you consider that we have not respected the exercise of your rights, you may contact the Data Protection Officer (rslopd@azora.es) or file a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

ARTICLE 23. MODIFICATIONS

LATROUPE may modify these General Terms and Conditions at any time. The General Terms and Conditions that apply at the time of booking by the guest of the Hotel and/or Campsite are binding between the parties.

The House Rules are also subject to change. If these changes occur during the stay, LATROUPE will inform the Hotel and/or Camping guest by email.

Modifications to the House Rules will come into effect immediately upon notification to the Hotel and/or Camping guest. Any modification or addition to the agreement between the Hotel and/or Camping guest and LATROUPE must be made in writing.

ARTICLE 2 4 . SAFEKEEPING OF DOCUMENTATION

LATROUPE must keep the Hotel and/or Camping site guest's reservation documents for a minimum period of five years, or for the duration of its commercial duration, even if this is longer than 5 years. The Hotel and/or campsite guest may access this information by contacting LATROUPE.

ARTICLE 25. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

This agreement is subject to Spanish law and any dispute between the parties relating to the interpretation or execution of this agreement shall be finally settled before the courts of Spain, unless otherwise provided by law.

ARTICLE 26. NULLITY

In the event that any of the clauses of this contract should be declared null and void, voidable or similar, the effect of the nullity shall be limited to the clause(s) affected. The remaining terms of the contract shall remain valid. In the event of nullity or unenforceability of a provision of this contract, the parties undertake to replace this provision with a valid provision as beneficial as possible to the parties.

ARTICLE 27. LANGUAGE

In the event of any doubt as to the interpretation of the conditions of this contract, all conditions shall be interpreted in the language in which they are written, Spanish being the principal valid language.

ARTICLE 28. HEADINGS

The captions and headings appearing in this agreement are purely indicative and do not express the agreement of the parties. They shall not be considered for the interpretation of the provisions of this agreement.

HOUSE RULES

The LATROUPE team has drafted the following document to ensure that your stay and that of other guests at LATROUPE runs smoothly. We thank you for reading these rules carefully and thoroughly. For further information or questions, please contact our staff at the reception desk.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

ARTICLE 1. GENERAL

By confirming your booking, you expressly accept the House Rules and agree to abide by them and to act with due diligence. You must not disturb and will respect other Guests, as well as the staff, local residents and the property.

Any Guest who, in the opinion of our staff, compromises the comfort, safety or security of other Guests, staff or local residents, will be asked to leave the Hotel and/or Campsite premises, in which case all charges will be immediately payable by him/her.

ARTICLE 2. RECEPTION

The reception is open every day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The employees present are at your disposal and will answer your questions and concerns as soon as possible.

Valid photo identification (national identity card, passport or driving licence) is required during the check-in process.

Hotel and/or campsite guests can check in and check out at the following times (see article 5 of the General Terms and Conditions):

On the day of the start of their stay from 17:00 p.m.

At the end of the day of your stay until 10:00 a.m.

ARTICLE 3. RESPECT FOR OTHER GUESTS AND LATROUPE EMPLOYEES

Respect is a basic concept at LATROUPE. Therefore, we ask that you always treat your fellow guests, as well as LATROUPE employees, with the required respect. Intimidation and violence are not tolerated.

ARTICLE 4. COMMON AREAS, MEETINGS AND NOISE NUISANCE

Peaceful enjoyment during the day and a good night's rest for all guests is a priority for LATROUPE.

You have free access to the common areas. 

LATROUPE strongly recommends that you take advantage of the facilities in the common areas, as they are, so to speak, an extension of your private accommodation and serve as a meeting place for you and other guests.

We ask you to consider several area-specific rules to enable guests to use the common areas as pleasantly and optimally as possible. The rules of use are displayed separately and clearly in each area. These rules are part of these House Rules and you and your guests must always comply with them.

In any case, we thank you for always leaving the common areas clean and tidy. 

Otherwise, LATROUPE will charge you for the full costs of cleaning. In addition, you will be charged for all costs of damage caused by you. Compensation comprises the total costs of repair or compensation as estimated by an expert or contractor assigned by the parties, with a minimum flat rate per damage of EUR 250.00.

 

ARTICLE 5 EMERGENCY EXITS

In case of fire the required emergency exits are provided and displayed on the premises.

Do not leave any items near the emergency exits. These emergency exits must always be free and fully accessible. In addition, it is strictly forbidden to use the emergency exits without an emergency.

If expressly indicated, fire and emergency doors must always remain closed. For blocking or using emergency exits without an emergency, a penalty of EUR 150.00 will be charged immediately. This will be understood as a breach of the House Rules, whereby LATROUPE in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions may unilaterally terminate the contract with the Hotel and/or Camping guest.

ARTICLE 6. NO SMOKING AND FIRE ALARMS

Smoking is forbidden in all the buildings, both in the common areas and in the rooms. This prohibition also applies to electronic cigarettes. The use of fire or candles in the rooms or accommodation as well as in the common areas is also strictly forbidden. It is generally forbidden to bring flammable, explosive or dangerous liquids or products onto the premises.

If you are caught smoking, using lighted candles, tampering with smoke detectors or using fire extinguishers inappropriately, a penalty of EUR 150.00 will be charged immediately. This is also a breach of the House Rules, whereby LATROUPE in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions may unilaterally terminate the contract with the long-term tenant and/or the agreement with the Hotel and/or Camping guest.

ARTICLE 7. ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, DRUGS AND WEAPONS

The bringing of illegal substances, drugs and weapons onto the premises is strictly prohibited and shall entitle LATROUPE to immediately and unilaterally terminate the contract in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions. In addition, LATROUPE will inform the competent authorities and a penalty of EUR 150.00 will be charged immediately.

ARTICLE 8. LOBBY

LATROUPE wishes to welcome you in the lobby every day. The lobby is accessible to all hotel and/or campsite guests and their guests. 

As the lobby should be a space for each guest to relax and enjoy, we thank you for keeping it clean and tidy and for making proper use of the furniture provided.

ARTICLE 9. USE OF THE WIFI NETWORK

During your stay you can use the LATROUPE Wi-Fi network. As the Wi-Fi network is accessible to all guests and visitors, we recommend that you install anti-virus software and a firewall on all your devices.

It is strictly forbidden to visit pornographic or illegal websites, infringe intellectual property rights or disseminate confidential or sensitive information. In general, obviously, any punishable offence is unacceptable.

To ensure the quality of the Wi-Fi network, it is not permitted to use or install private networks or routers.

LATROUPE does everything necessary to always guarantee the functioning of and access to the Wi-Fi network. However, (temporary) unavailability due to technical or other disruptions cannot be excluded. Use of the LATROUPE Wi-Fi network is at your own risk. LATROUPE cannot be held liable for any damages, losses or costs resulting from the unavailability of the Wi-Fi network.

ARTICLE 10. LOST PROPERTY

Always check carefully that you have not left anything behind when leaving your room or the premises. In addition, we strongly request that you do not leave any articles of value in the hotel and/or campsite.

Items found in the rooms or common areas of the building will be kept by LATROUPE for three months after departure. If you left or lost something you can contact LATROUPE reception with a description of the item lost during your stay, as well as up to three months afterwards. If the item was found, LATROUPE will try to return it to you safely. After the three-month period has expired, LATROUPE becomes the owner of these items. Lost items can be collected from the Hotel or Campsite by the owner with an accepted form of identification.

ARTICLE 11. LIABILITY

LATROUPE's liability policy is described in detail in the General Conditions.

ARTICLE 12. PRIVACY

LATROUPE has a privacy and cookies policy. You can consult it on the website www.latroupe.com. Your personal data will only be processed in accordance with this privacy policy.

ARTICLE 13. SERVICES

LATROUPE offers the services listed below. Depending on the service, these are provided free of charge or at the user's expense. The rules of use and instructions for use are displayed in the common areas where the services are offered. These rules are part of these House Rules and you and your guests must always comply with them.

If you use services offered by third parties, even if they are recommended by LATROUPE, you must comply with the general conditions and/or regulations of use of these third parties. In no case shall LATROUPE be liable to a third party or for the user.

They are included in the hotel rate:

 Fitness room and spa in some of the LATROUPE hotels, excluding massages.

The LATROUPE fitness room is available to guests. Admission to the fitness room and use of the gym equipment is at the responsibility of the gym user. LATROUPE cannot be held responsible for any physical or material damage. The surveillance camera is present in the fitness room. Theft or damage is the responsibility of the user.

 There are not included in the hotel rate:

Breakfast.

In the resort, breakfast is served every day from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in high season and from 08:00 to 10:30 a.m. in low season, at the buffet in the El Mercat restaurant.

In the campsite, there is no option of accommodation with breakfast included, however, the client can have breakfast in the Contrebande restaurant at the price stipulated therein.

Luggage room.

A luggage room is provided in all our hotels. The room will always be open under the supervision of our staff. However, LATROUPE cannot be held responsible in any way for misuse, damage or loss. 

Washing Machines/Laundry.

Any guest may use the washing machines and dryers for a fee. Charges for this service are per use. You must use the washing machines and dryers and make proper use of the products that can be purchased at the supermarket on the premises. LATROUPE cannot be held responsible for damage to clothes due to incorrect use of the washing machine or the use of unsuitable washing products. Any malfunction must be reported to LATROUPE immediately. Damage caused by abnormal use shall be borne by the user.

Parking.

Hotel: Parking spaces in the nearest parking lot can be reserved at the reception desk at a cost of 20€/day.

LATROUPE cannot be held responsible for theft or damage to your car.

Campsite: The parking spaces in front of the reception are for arriving and departing guests. Caravans have a parking space within the pitch, and bungalows and tents have 1 parking space included in the general parking. If you need an additional parking space, please contact reception beforehand, but availability is not guaranteed. LATROUPE cannot be held responsible for damage or theft of your vehicle.

 

ARTICLE 14 DISABLED GUESTS

LATROUPE complies with all laws regulating the treatment and provision of disabled persons.

Guests with special requirements relating to a disability must inform the hotel and/or campsite management team prior to the date of arrival.

ARTICLE 15 GUESTS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE

LATROUPE does not accept bookings made by children under the age of 18 unless accompanied by an adult (18 years or older). Failure to comply with this rule will result in automatic cancellation without refund.

  

ARTICLE 16 CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL

LATROUPE will not serve alcohol to persons under 18 years of age. 

 

ARTICLE 17 METHOD OF PAYMENT

Credit card payments for online bookings. Please contact the Hotel and/or Campsite staff for more details on the type of credit cards accepted, depending on the city. Cash is accepted for walk-in bookings.
